TCarol and George were my neighbors in Minnesota. She was a wonderful person. She doted on George and loved it when her granddaughters Tasha and sonja came to visit. Every Thanksgiving she and George had their neighbors for a celebration. She hated weeds and was very diligent in keeping them out of their garden and lawn. Both she and George would make neighborhood rounds in their golf cart. They had a couple of fish fries every year and of George said 5:30 that's exactly the time you better be there. She never put herself first. She was an amazing woman!!
During the time in which I served as pastor of Christ Community Church in Pelican Rapids, MN, Carol was a faithful member of our little church family. She also taught Sunday school during the time that she was part of our congregation. She was a very sweet and kind woman and we enjoyed having her as part of our worshipping congregation.
I was so sorry to hear of Carol's passing. She was an absolute sweetheart and my heart hurt for her when George passed away. My condolences to each of you.

Carol was a wonderful neighbor. It was always nice to see her out in her flower gardens with that big beautiful smile. Catherine especially loved to go to Carol's house and have her read to her (and of course, Carol always had sweets to share). Blessed be her memory.
