I worked with Ida at the credit union. She was a sweet women with a heart of gold. I loved listening to her stories of California. Her and Bob had so many adventures together and I'm so glad they are now together in heaven having the best adventure of their lives.
Rosie and I were constant companions in high school - St. Cecilia’s Academy - Algona, Iowa, Class of 1952. Her dad worked for the Parish. She was the first girl I ever kissed!
The photograph was taken November 1953 in El Cajon, California, as we said our goodbyes - not to meet again until our high school’s 50th reunion at Charlie’s Supper Club, Algona, Iowa.

I worked with Ida for several years at the credit union. She was the sweetest, most reliable and non-judgemental lady. She always saw the good in people and she loved her Bob so much. I am sure they are embracing and having a wonderful reunion in heaven. May you Rest In Peace.
My thoughts are with you.
Aunt Rosie was always such a joyful person. I am so glad my family had the great privilege of knowing and loving her. We always looked forward to seeing her on vacations and catching up. She was always ready for an adventure and full of stories. She will forever be in our hearts and our prayers.
We are saddened to hear of Ida’s passing. We so enjoyed working with her on the Saint Cecelia’s funeral dinner committee, her 3 bean salad and Ken loved watching her win at Noon Kiwanis bingo on Monday nights. Rest In Peace Ida Rose. Ken & Betty Frideres
Aunt Rose was a wonderful person and we loved her very much. So saddened to learn of this news, but so glad we had a nice chat with her a couple of weeks earlier. She and Uncle Bob fully enjoyed the California lifestyle while they were there. She will be deeply missed by her large, loving family, but we know she is happily reunited with Bob and other relatives. God speed, Aunt Rose. -- Laura and Greg Groch
